Avatar’s Wrestling School- A hobby of mine when I was in grade school, the first online communities I joined were wrestling forums. I became involved in Fantasy Wrestling, and began learning how to write HTML to expand on the website of a friend. I was approached by a colleague named Jerry Mings to handle web development for a fantasy wrestling school he had in mind. After designing the website, I began marketing the website through established networking channels (the Internet was a much different place in 1999). Within 2 months the AWS was ranked #1 on FWLnet.com’s top 1000 fantasy wrestling websites list, and the site became a household name in online wrestling communities. We were approached with hosting opportunities, and won several awards for both quality and popularity. This was my first major marketing success, and I always look back to what I accomplished as a child to remind myself what I should be capable of as an adult.
I am compensated from time to time by a number sources. I do not support or recommend any product or service regardless of compensation unless I truly believe that the product or service provides good value. All endorsements are of products that I would have endorsed regardless, and from time to time I am compensated after the fact. I will always disclose compensation here if you are curious about any endorsements.
AdSense – I display AdSense banners sparingly on my blog, as well as on other websites I own and maintain. All compensation is earned, and I am in no way, shape or form compensated by Google for editorial views.
I am currently an affiliate of Comment Luv and other WordPress plugins that Andy Bailey Holds the License to. I became an affiliate after purchasing the product and I feel like it has had a positive effect on the engagement rates of my blog. I would recommend Comment Luv regardless of compensation, but have not tried any additional plugins yet.
I am an affiliate of Aweber Mailing Lists. Aweber is well regarded among network marketers, and offers a high quality product. I personally use ChimpMail which is currently a better fit for my needs.
I make a profit from all of the items sold in my store.
I recieve Perks from companies who use Klout to reach out to influencers. These companies do not requirement positive reviews, or any reviews at all. If I mention a product I recieved via Klout I will always mention that it was a Klout Perk.
I recieved a complimentary Upgraded account at PROskore.com after a review I wrote about the site. I considered this a gift, and an awesome consideration for press that I provided prior to receiving any compensation.
